At Home Legs and Glutes Workout Video

Who says you can’t get a good workout at home?

At home legs and glutes

Here is a video with some great at home legs and glutes exercises. All you need is a flight of stairs. You can use dumbbells or just use body weight.  Repeat 1-4 times depending on fitness level.

My Video on Youtube! I apologize in advace for the cheesy free music I have on here and my low quality video. I’m no professional. 😉

Some tips:

  • Don’t forget to squeeze those glutes as you do each exercise.
  • Be sure to do some dynamic stretches before hand and static stretches after so that you are less likely to get injured.
  • Feel free to dance like my kiddos in between circuits. 😉
  • Focus on form, but the faster you can do each exercise the more of a cardio workout you will get.
  • Press up through your heal when doing squats and lunges.
  • You don’t need much equipment to work out at home but here are some other items I like to have at home for my workouts.

Enjoy!

Yay! I’m glad you liked this! I will try and make more videos in the future. 🙂 You will all just get to see the real me when I work out now… no makeup, sweaty and red faced.

Before you posted this, I had the boys running up and down our stairs as a leg workout for wrestling. It is a lot of stairs from the basement up to the second floor. This past week, I ran up and down with them and boy were my hamstrings sore! I had to use my homemade muscle rub with essential oils ..HA! I am working my way up to a more rigorous workout…one day at a time! Your video gave me some new ideas to change up my leg workout. You are awesome!!! Blessings.

Awesome!! I got the kiddos to do my leg workout on Tuesday too! I had them running stairs and jumping on the trampoline (the small one in the basement). It was so much fun to workout with them. My daughter enjoyed it the most. I’m so excited for warm weather because the kids like riding bikes with me when I run. Can’t wait! My daughter was like “Mom, you make that look easy.” It was fun to have her enjoy something I love so much. Which essential oils do you use after a workout? I like peppermint. I know there is a particular blend though from YL that you like right?

That is fantastic! I love when my kids enjoy things I enjoy. I know they won’t like everything I enjoy and that is okay. I like to use Young Living PanAway after working out. I also use Young Living Wintergreen which works great and it is a cheaper option. I make my own sore muscle rub with peppermint, wintergreen, and ginger. The kids used 90% of it for wrestling…ha. YL RC is great for a preworkout pump. I hope to get a post out on that soon! Blessings!
