Dairy Free Keto Meatzza
We LOVE dairy in our house. BUT, my digestive system doesn’t love me when I eat it. Since I’m currently cycling in and out of keto depending on my health and fitness goals, I came up with this cheeseless “Meatzza” and my family all agrees that it’s amazing!
Here is how I make it:
Ingredients:
*1 lb no sugar added breakfast sausage ground pork (We really like Pederson’s Farm ground pork. You could also sub more beef if you don’t eat pork.)
*1/2 lb grassfed beef (If you live in the Rochester area and want to know where we get ours, shoot me an e-mail at Livingcleanandfit@yahoo.com)
*1/2 cup to 3/4 cup of your favorite sugar free organic marinara sauce (we found some fantastic stuff at Aldies)
*1/2 lb of kielbasa or whatever toppings you choose (We used Pederson’s Farm Kielbasa cut like pepperonis. You can top with pepperoni, bacon, sausage, ham, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions…. whatever you typically like on your pizza. Of course you could add cheese too but then it’s not dairy free. 😉 )
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
- Mix your ground pork and beef.
- Press it flat onto a cookie sheet.
- Top with your favorite marinara sauce and spread around evenly.
- Add your toppings.
- Cook for 20-30 minutes or more checking the internal temperature of your ground meat. The length you cook it will depend on the thickness of your meat layer.
- Let it sit for 5 minutes or until it’s cool enough where it wont burn the top of your mouth.
- Enjoy!
There you have it! A super easy Keto meal when you are craving pizza but don’t want the cheese or carbs. I usually serve this with a size salad or roasted broccoli. Yum!
